Ed & Mark Bentley are father and son that have enjoyed fishing together over the years. Ed and Mark have been fishing as a team competively for the last several years in a Christian fishing tournament called Fishers of Men. In 2010 they were able to win a tournament and advance to the regional tournament.
Eric & Ed met when they were both working in the G.O. Ministries warehouse for Haiti relief efforts and quickly became friends. Together they came up with an idea to raise funds for Eric & Sunshine's missionary work thru non-traditional way. Ed & Mark would get one time gifts or pledges per pound of fish that they catch in the 5 tournaments that they would fish in 2011.
Together Ed & Mark have received pledges and one time gifts of $4,356 for the year to help support the work in the Dominican & Haiti. This is despite flooding that has caused difficult fishing and a boat that cracked and needs repair. If you would like to become a part of the G.O.
